Sweet Treats at Weddings

It is becoming more and more popular to have some sweet treats at weddings to keep your guests occupied whilst you are off having photos taken or after the meal to sweeten them up. So you could treat your guests to the old favourite, a chocolate fountain or to a pick and mix and set up an old-fashioned sweet shop. This can be done simply by filling glass candy jars and containers with sweets of your choice and allowing guests to scoop their sweets into coloured paper candy bags to take away. Or glam it up and have a dessert table, with cupcakes, cake pops and other treats all displayed on cut glass cake stands and in crystal bowls.

A Chocolate Fountain

A chocolate fountain creates an amazing centrepiece to both impress your guests and let them enjoy delicious Belgian chocolate drizzled over fruit and confectionary. A chocolate fountain can be used as a dessert option or to welcome your guests to the reception or even as a showpiece for the evening reception

A Candy cart / sweet shop

A Candy cart / sweet shop can be used as an alternative to having wedding favours or a luxury extra, it can be colour coordinated to tie in with your theme or just go mad and have all your old childhood favourites. This can easily be created by yourself but there are also a number of suppliers in Northern Ireland who will organise it all for you.

A Dessert table

A Dessert table is becoming more popular as it offers your guests a variety of choices to finish their meal. You could have one table with a selection of everything that you love or a few tables themed, for example, cookies and milk table or a brownie and cupcake table or a bite-size table that would have a selection of cake pops and traybakes etc on offer. The choice is yours.
