I am delighted to announce that I have been accepted as a fully qualified member of The Irish Professional Photographers Association.

The Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) was founded in 1949, and has nearly 400 practising members located throughout Ireland.
All IPPA are full time photographers, qualified, registered and insured, giving the buying public the peace of mind and added security of a professional service provided by a qualified photographer. Visit my profile on the IPPA website.
The IPPA are members of the Federation of European Professional Photographers and are also members of the World Council of Professional Photographers and maintain close links to other associations in Europe and the United States.
The showcase event in the IPPA calendar is the Annual Conference held this year in the hometown of the current President Paddy Clarke from Dundalk. I am really looking forward to this event in October to catch up with the friends I have within the Association and to hear from several high profile photographers from USA giving workshops and seminars during the course of the weekend. And of course it is the Associations 60th Birthday so I am sure there will be a bit of party!
